A delightful amount of mind-bending silliness with the imps, followed by a short detour to Themiscyra, all foes defeated through the power of friendship (aka allied bad asses combining their power). I think Robin had the best lines throughout. A particularly wholesome entry in this series, which continues to be a feast for the eyeballs thanks to Dan Mora's art. Always eager to see more!

Oh, they spoiled us on this one. I've no idea how many different times DC may have introduced 'the first meeting/team up of Batman and Superman', but I'm sure I'll never get tired of it. There was a definite vintage flair to the art and costuming on this one which I enjoyed, and they definitely went more earnest and cautiously optimistic than antagonistic with it, which is more this particular series' speed anyway. As for the other stories 1/?

Robotswithpersonality 2/? included, while I don't know much about Metamorpho or Bumblebee, I do feel like each of these stories was a bit too short, I guess you either like what you see and go looking for more, or you already know the character, and enjoy another tidbit about them. The Challengers of the Unknown piece Time Check was definitely too short, but the premise grabbed me. I have a feeling I'd be signing myself up to a mega info/lore dump though, it seems 6mo

Robotswithpersonality 3/? like deep sci fi, possibly fantasy weirdness.
Joker-Luthor: World's Vilest is seeing each of these villains in top form, probably an extra treat for Batman fans because Joker is wacky and terrifyingly out of his mind by turns to the point that he frightens Lex Luthor, who I fear has never really impressed me as much beyond rich, arrogant and unethical (too real a villain, honestly). 6mo

Robotswithpersonality 4/4 Imperiled and Impossible: Prologue [Mark Waid and Dan Mora writer/artist team up, woot! woot! 🎉] are both pieces of a story that's just starting in this volume, to be continued in the next, so while I was entertained, I'm also miffed by the cliffhanger. I will eagerly await my library's acquisition of the next volume in this series. World's Finest, indeed. 😉 6mo
