so-soToibin rewrote Antigone entirely from Esmene‘s perspective. That is Antigone‘s sister, who doesn‘t want to create trouble, like Antigone does, but also deeply loves her sister. It‘s highly regarded and free and only 1:04 on audible. But I‘m not the biggest fan. I didn‘t feel it added much to what Sophocles and his English translators have already said.
