so-soThis is the final book in this very convoluted and lack luster series. This was the best of the 4 books, but it was honestly 10 pages of awesome suspense and action and then a crazy 20 page sex scene that just distracted from, not added to, the story. I read romance, I enjoy a good sex scene, but good lord! I kept hitting fast forward (skimming) to get back to the actual story. It could have been great, but instead it was just ok.
JackieSmith I feel as if the same has happened with her Breeds series. They used to be auto buys for me, but the last few have been underdeveloped (plot & characters) & confusing, like major details have been omitted. 8y
