pickI'd never heard of Wright Morris before a fellow volunteer at the cat shelter gave me this book, and he is now my favorite short story writer. I can't get tried of his prose. It is subdued and layered, like a tightly braided cord. If you haven't read him, do! If you have, I want to hear what you think.
