The writing in this novel is beautiful. Jay Quinn can definitely string a line of words together and make you want to keep reading. However, characters who seem perfect all the time just aren't my thing. And the main character in this book doesn't really have any flaws. The side characters, though, were entertaining and had very strong personalities.
