Cute middle grade graphic novel. The interaction between these characters is cute. I think novel will be a good resource to discussed different topics with the young ones, like the expression and management of different emotions, friendship, how to resolve conflict etc. I know the palette of colors could be described as one that is in accordance to autumn season but I think is a little too dark to appreciate some detail 3/3.5⭐️

A little like little Red, but with emphasis on adventure and overcoming fears. I'd kind of like an acorn full of magical healing soup. 🥚 🌽 X 5

I first read these graphic novels last year, and they‘re just as cute, adorable and cozy on a second reading. And the color palette is so autumnal

Books about friendships, adventure, change and overcoming your fears

I was able to get in two more for #gnreadathon for @JenlovesJT47 / #birthdaybashreadathon for @TheAromaofBooks
Beneath the Trees: Reminded me of Dexter, but with adorable anthropomorphic animals
Garlic and the Vampire: An adorably anxious anthropomorphic vegetable is called upon to investigate a possible vampire

Anytime I've read this in the classroom, students are always laughing and have been able to make great predictions of what will happen to acorn next. I love reading this story when it becomes fall.
