When I turned 9 my mom took me, 2 friends and my cousin to Chuck E Cheese. It was the only real birthday party I ever had as a kid. The rest were just cake and presents with family, no party or friends. It wasn't bad, and I am not complaining, I am grateful for those birthdays too. This party meant the world to me though having not had one and been to so many of my peers parties from school.
