Not sure which witch I loved the best! 🧙🏻‍♀️All three were enjoyable, easy reading 📖 also enjoying my new deck of tarot cards 🎴 This deck has a great sense of humor 🥸 looking forward to wrapping up my three nonfiction reads before the end of the month! #basicwitch #litsymagic

I was so sure this was on my Litsy-sub, that‘s why I took it home with me from the little free library. Uh, well, turned out I was wrong. Seemingly the title just rang a bell because I stumbled across it out of #LitsyMagic.

Just found out that I confused Mariana Leky with Marina Lewycka who wrote 🇩🇪 „Kurze Geschichte des Traktors auf Ukrainisch“ (🇬🇧 “Caravan”) – which I didn‘t find as amusing as everybody else did.

So, perfect, let‘s start …

Deifio Hope it's good anyway...and what's the name of that animal on the cover? Looks like a cross between a zebra and a tapir... 4y
Buechersuechtling @Deifio You‘re good. At first glance I thought it‘s a roe deer 🦌 but it‘s an Okapi. (Which is revealed quite early in the story.) (edited) 4y

Litsy did it again. #LitsyMagic Less than 15 minutes ago I was talking to @La_Cori about “Pinocchio” being a book by an Italian author and that, by the way, the plot is being very different from the story Disney tells in his film.

It was that fact that made me search for it in my online library‘s catalogue – and look what I found and immediately borrowed‼️😃 #BlameItOnLitsy

The only question left is: When will I start reading all my newly ins❓

La_Cori Well done!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻 5y
Buechersuechtling @La_Cori Thank you‼️🙇🏽‍♀️ Meanwhile I‘m really curious. 5y

I need to stop using Litsy because this leads to meeting lovely people who are reading interesting books that I also want to read due to their reviews. #LitsyMagic ✨ cast by @AnneCecilie ‼️ 😉

Understood that this will be squeezed in before Mr Winkler.

AnneCecilie Good to know I‘m not the only one buying/ reading based on Litsy reviews. Well, then I guess it‘s good that it‘s a short one 😊 5y

Can‘t believe, it‘s already six months ago that I put this on my online libraries wish list. 😯 When I decided yesterday that it‘s time to check it out, I knew nothing about it, just, that it was one of those books found by a #LitsyMagic ✨. Now that I read the blurb I‘m not really sure if it fits my current reading mood. Sounds like strong stuff. Maybe a bit much for me at the moment.

More #LitsyMagic ✨. Just read the review @Tracey3 wrote – and she really got me curious by mentioning that it‘s not quite John-Green-like, for as far as many of his books are concerned, I definitely can‘t understand the praise they get. His “quirky” characters are most of the time a bit too much, a bit forced for me …

But Tracey definitely caught my interest with this and so I‘m especially happy to have found it in my online library‼️🙌🏼

Thank you @Chelsea.Poole ‼️ With your post about that McCubin-book being that little nudge I needed to remember that I also planned to do a bit of decluttering this year. #LitsyMagic

Since Marie Kondo isn‘t really my cup of tea I just buzzword-searched my online library and found this tiny book (50 pages). I‘m curious to find out if it will turn out helpful in any way …

Chelsea.Poole Good luck! I already have two bags full of clothes ready to go. Hope you're successful 😊 5y
