GingerAntics @RavenLovelyReads that was a totally hectic time in life in general. I became a caretaker for my mother after she had a stroke. We ended up homeless twice. I was lucky I survived I think. 6y

RavenLovelyReads @GingerAntics Crikey! Yes- I have nothing but absolute respect for you! I saw people dropping out left and right for far less than what you went through. I “meet” people on Litsy that I wish i could talk nerdy with at a bookstore - you are definitely one of them. Thanks for sharing your story. (edited) 6y
GingerAntics @RavenLovelyReads lol I was lucky not to know anyone who dropped out. We weren‘t a particularly small program, but everyone I started with I finished with. I‘m pretty sure that is not the norm, though. I‘ve heard of people dropping out for all sorts of reasons. It never seriously crossed my mind to stop going. I joked about it once, but decided it wasn‘t happening. My hard headed gingerness must have saved the day. lol 6y
