After reading The Skin I‘m In by Sharon G. Flake, I knew that I had to read her sequel, The Life I‘m In. The Skin I‘m In ends with Maleeka Madison overcoming the bullying that she endured from Charlese Jones, and The Life I‘m In begins with Charlese‘s journey.
