I love stories where you can relate to characters right from the start. Life and other Inconveniences draws you in instantly. Genevieve the grandmother is someone you‘ll love to hate until you get to know her. Laughing and crying as you read and then a surprising turn of events. I highly recommend this book to those who understand what life can throw at you at any time .

When you first meet Eleanor the reader becomes very confused. Do you love her or hate her ? As you get to know her you will laugh at loud at her quirkiness and cry once you learn about who she is. Sometimes at the same time ! This story was well written in telling a story about someone you can‘t figure out, but eventually learn to love. Eleanor Oliphant is perfectly fine !

I love Historical Fiction and Nightingale is at its best. ! Besides being very informative, the relationships are strained but they tell their story beautifully. I definitely recommend this book if you are looking for a well written story that will touch you deeply.
