Pickpick

It took me a little while to get into it, but that was mostly because I was reading several other books at that time. The Barbizon. It will make you fall in love with historical non fiction, make you want to maintain the beauty and grandeur in historic buildings, and will stir so much gratitude in your heart for places like The Barbizon that have provided a safe space for women to pursue their dreams and create a long lasting golden legacy.

Almost done with this book and it hasn‘t been twenty four hours yet. I‘m loving it almost as much as I love TFiOS… Davis is alright but Augustus Waters will always be superior. John Green is one of the best YA authors out there people.

Questions for you guys… Hardcover or paperback? Best things/worst things about your preferred choice of book format? Craziest thing you‘ve used for a book mark? And lastly, your take on Charles Dickens??

One of my closest friends has been begging me to read this book for a long while, and now I‘m finally doing it. I‘m only a couple chapters in, but man… this book is for everyone. Honestly I think this is a good book for anyone to read, regardless of their opinions on Christianity, because it offers a fresh and ACCURATE truth, which is that Christians, we struggle so much… this book is so relatable and just… I feel right at home reading this 😭💯

I‘ve read the first few books a couple times, but this is the first time reading through the entire series and it saddens me into a state of loneliness to realize that after The Half Blood Prince, I‘ll only have the last book left to read for the first time. After that, it won‘t be, “Oh, I‘m reading the (insert book number here) Harry Potter book!” Rather, it‘ll be reread after reread. There‘s nothing like reading a book for the first time.

Every time I read a Harry Potter book I wish somehow it was real…. Tonks would be my life mentor, Lupin would be the best professor ever, I would plan an epic prank with the Weasley twins on Umbridge and “accidentally” kill her… the entire world Rowling created years ago captivates so many readers even now and will no doubt continue to do so for YEARS to come. We‘re all looking for a way to escape and for us amazing people, it‘s through books 😂

Excited to read this once I‘m done with Emma. A high school student who reads classics for fun, even after reading them for school?? Yes ma‘am.
