I love origin stories, and I have to admit this one is the most unique. I straddled the line of almost pitying Levana and wanting to toss my hands up in the air to call a doctor to get this broad medication. It's really amazing to see how twisted one can be in the land of delusion in order to get what they want. Despite reading this book with my jaw firmly attached to the floor it's a great book. Levana is a character that you can love to hate!

I seemed to cry at parts that had me crying for no logical reason. A story from hardship and about growth after a tragedy and growing up. Bust out your tissues for this one.

This is a wonderful book journey with Isadora the daughter of Isis and Osiris(one of MANY offsprings) where she discovers love and that things aren't always as bad as they seem. Oh. And friendship.
