Pickpick

I have journaled almost every book that I have read and few make it to my 5 star rating. Jamie Ford placed solidly on it with “Hotel at the corner of bitter and sweet”. It is a tender and tragic story about the relationship between two young people during WW2, one being Chinese and the other Japanese American. Relationship that overcomes racial bias. I recommend this book to everyone who enjoys reading.

Dust | Patricia Cornwell
Mehso-so

Anyone who writes or describes their work has a tendency to be detailed. So it was with Cornwall‘s Dust. Story contains pages of details that at times brings the story to a crawl. More action through the book would have been welcomed. Although a struggle the end brought a satisfactory ending. Enjoy the author but not this effort.
