I read this book about 15 years ago after my first trip to Poland. I‘m reading it again because I SO admire Janusz Korczak and teach my students about him. He was an extraordinary person and I highly recommend this book. ❤️ He ran an orphanage in the Warsaw Ghetto, is a hero in Holocaust education and so much more!

I REALLY enjoyed this book. I'm a huge RBG fan, and have such respect and admiration for her. I bought the book, started it, then my book club picked it for December, which pushed me to finish it. For Christmas my husband, knowing that I am a huge RBG fan, bought me My Own Words, by RBG. I'm really looking forward to reading it and will write a review when I finish it.

Eight Tales of Terror | Edgar Allan Poe

I have always enjoyed reading Edgar Allan Poe and will soon be teaching two of my favorite Poe tales to my eighth-grade language arts students. Today, for #GiveaScaryBook and #AllHallowsRead, I gave a copy of this book to one of my students whom I recently introduced to Poe, and will enjoy the book and pass it along to someone else. 🎃🎃👻

I really enjoyed this book, the story, character development and writing style. I was totally drawn into it and plan to read more from this author. I would not have heard of this book had it not been for my book club.

MrBook Nice review 😊. Welcome to @Litsy ! We hope you enjoy your stay, I think you'll like it here 😎👍🏻. 8y
