I also liked how religion played a role in why some people wanted to side with the English because they were under the Church of England. It reminds me today of information that is spread on topics. After reading about half of this book, I have come to find it interesting that both sides have a viewpoint on the war. It is crazy to think that families could be torn because one side sees the English as the enemy and another as supreme rulers. One thing that I found odd was rebels that were basically attacking Tim's father and asking to relinquish his firearm.
