Started listening to this this morning and it's already made me laugh out loud more times than any other book I've read recently. There are many people who I have come across just like Ove, his character is brilliant.

Do you ever get to a point where you have unread books on your shelf but none of them jump out at you when you go to start a new one? This is how I'm feeling atm, any suggestions would really help #bookburnout #whatnext
I was so enthralled in the book I hadn't realised this was what my little man was doings on my knee.
I enjoyed the first series of wayward pines on tv and knew I had to read the books. This one, as is true the majority of the time, is so much better than the series, even if it is a little bit blood thirsty in places. I can't wait to read the next two.
If I'm honest this was a book I picked up many times in book stores and always put back as I didn't think I'd enjoy it. How wrong was I! The narrator, Death, was a great twist and actually reading a story set during World War II from the perspective of a German girl was a breath of fresh air. It is one of only a few books that actually made me cry.
Watching the kids seething up "camp" in our back yard was the perfect way to finish reading this breathtaking story of nature, friendship and American history. Bill Bryson has such a great way with words, sometimes I can actually hear him through the pages. With quite a few incidents that made me laugh out loud, much to the intrigue and amusement of those around me, I would definitely recommend this book to anyone with a passion for nature.
This is what Sunday afternoons should be about. Kids running free in the park whilst I read this great book. Love Bill Bryson's writing, he has such a way with words

Loved this book and that it is from the perspective of another mother. Really had me guessing who actually did it and I only realised who it was just before the reveal. Very well written
