I was thinking that I'll not be able to achieve my goal for this year since july maybe ? But I did it and I can't believe that I managed to do this! This was such a hectic year for me and I didn't really read that much (or so I thought) it is a weird feeling to be able to achieve my goal with all the problems and things that kept me unmotivated to do anything at all this year. I'm ecstatic that I was able to do it!!!

My professor today asked who likes reading and I was one of the few who raised their hands. She gave me this novel and I can't believe myself 😂♥️ This is my favourite professor and I have loved her since the first lecture she ever gave me. Now, I have a book of hers that she gave to me and she will not take it back 😂♥️♥️♥️♥️ I can't believe it 😭♥️

rwmg So, does he do the fandango? 2mo
EvieBee Lol @rwmg A Queen fan? 2mo
Vansa I LOVE this book. It has one of the best opening lines ever, and is an excellent work about the constantly changing politics of the French Revolution. I love Rafael Sabatini's pirate books ,this one's quite different but just as good. 2mo
Vansa What a delightful professor! 2mo
MehoLovesReading @Vansa I can't wait to read it honestly! And she is the best professor I've ever encountered! She genuinely cares for us and listens to what we want to say. She even goes out with us when she feels that we're not feeling well! She is more like a mother than a professor if I'm being honest. 2mo

4⭐ I thought that hamlet would be my all time favourite shakesperean play, but it isn't. I don't know if it's because I had really high hopes for it or what, but I didn't like it as much as his other plays. It was good and kept me interested, but it have any effect one by the end. I liked some quotes and some parts, but it wasn't how I expected it you know?

4⭐ Good but could have been better. Why call the series "Red Queen" when there is no red queens anywhere?
But I still would recommend reading this series

persephone1408 Mare is the Red Queen. She was called that at the end of the first one. 3mo
MehoLovesReading @persephone1408 yes I know, but the name gives the sense that she will become queen at the end and this doesn't happen so I felt like it was kind of irrelevant you know? 3mo
persephone1408 @MehoLovesReading I can understand that. I feel like she is a queen without a title. If that makes sense. 3mo

MehoLovesReading @GingerAntics I'm at act 3 scene 1. Just finished this scene an hour ago. 3mo
MehoLovesReading @GingerAntics I'll see if I can find it. But I'll have to finish reading it first because I'm reading it for university. 3mo
GingerAntics @MehoLovesReading that makes sense. So you‘ve made it to the most famous speech/soliloquy in the English language. That really takes on so much meaning when you dig into its many layers. Has your prof talked about feigned vs real insanity for Hamlet yet? That always an interesting conversation, and of course there are scholars that land hard on both sides of that argument. 3mo
MehoLovesReading @GingerAntics no we didn't discuss this scene yet. I think next class we will discuss this speech. I'm trying to stay on top of my reading so I'm reading faster than what she is discussing with us so far. 3mo

3.5⭐ It was not the best book, but it was okay... I loved the characters and the story itself was decent but it was built around a misunderstanding and it was a stupid one too so it got on my nerves a little.

I like every kind of book, especially the ones that will make me lose myself in the story so whatever kind of book you recommend can work. It just has to make me get lost in the storyline. I just want to stop thinking before it gets worse in my brain. #BadBrainDay
