I‘m SHOOK! I SO want the nice man to be his dad! I wonder. I haven‘t read a book with my morning coffee instead of watching the news in several years! I‘m sneaking chapters in wherever and whenever I can.

After the first three chapters I was pretty hooked. I watched a few reviews and wondered if I should continue. I can‘t say how glad I am that I chose to continue. I‘m just shy of 1/3 through and am more intrigued than ever.

Thought this book could escort me into the new year. I‘m intrigued.

I had a sinking feeling in the first chapter. The story has a bit of a politic flavour and I feared it would be a main vehicle throughout. But I have a rule of reading the first 5 chapters of any book before I give up. I‘m happy to say that I was hooked enough to continue by time I read the first few sentences of the second chapter. This is one of the best books I‘ve read in the past five years and hits all the feels I ask for in a book.
