Behind every story, though, there is always a theme that resonates. For Salvaged, the author really drives home the idea of family and what makes a family. readers get to see that family is really about support, love, compassion, and understanding. Blood doesn‘t matter, love does.

In Stay, readers get to meet Matt & Hailey. These 2 are recovering from recent breakups that have left them off-kilter. With conversations through Fetch, Matt and Hailey form a friendship that quickly becomes more. Although they begin to spend more time together, there is hesitancy on both sides for. It is very clear from the beginning that these two are really well-suited for each other, and when they are together, the chemistry works.

The characters, Teague & Mateo, are what really drive this novel. Mateo has that easy and lovable charm. Readers, just like Teague, sense that he is a player, a limitless flirt, and yet he still retains that factor that draws women to him. Teague is a fantastic heroine, confident yet sweet, & she has a determination to be successful on her own. While she has the attributes needed to succeed in a big city, she still maintains that small town charm.
