I know I don‘t post much here since I‘m a slow reader and a mood reader, but I recently picked this up as a fan of R.L. Stine and a writer. His books were such a big part of my childhood and part of what got me into horror. So getting a chance to see what his writing process is like and what advice he has was wonderful. I also loved seeing the snippets of his books with notes on what each can teach writing wise.

I recently read this short story after getting a new tablet specifically for ebooks(the Amazon Fire 7, it turned out to be the perfect size to hold and was on sale).

It was a fun quick read. I loved the way everything was described. For a short story I think it did a good job at establishing the connections between the characters as well as the world they lived in. I definitely recommend giving it a read

I‘m going to be honest, this is one of the very few books I decided to DNF.

I know it has a a big following. I love fantasy. I heard good things about it, so I gave it a shot. It started off strong. I wasn‘t the biggest fan of Feyre from the start, but I figured maybe as it went on I‘d like her more. The pacing started off strong. I liked how everything was introduced, but once she got to the fae world, the pacing slowed down too much for me.

This is just a tinsy bit of shameless self promotion, since I did write it, but reading back through it I still love how each story flowed.

“Dark Pine: Tales of Terror” is a collection of six scary stories based around the local legends of the town Dark Pine. It has a very “Twilight Zone” meets “Are You Afraid of the Dark” vibe to it.

If you‘re looking for a quick and fun read for the Halloween season, check it out.

Definitely a fun fantasy read. It may have been a while since I‘ve read it, but I wanted to start my profile sharing some of my favorites. This is more of a fun fantasy adventure following a kobold with a can-do attitude. I love the cast of characters the castle has. It‘s certainly a refreshing read in a genre full of epic heroes/heroines. For a kobold she feels very relatable and I love following her journey.

Definitely one of my favorite reads. It wastes no time setting the tone. It‘s such a campy fun book. In a weird way it has a similar charm to “Murder She Wrote”, but if it was more about committing the crimes instead of solving them. I absolutely loved this book and am excited to read the next one.
