I only really have one word: wow. I was completely swept away by this and probably would‘ve listened to all of it in sitting if I‘d had the time. I loved the story and the characters and the sheer emotional punch it packed. I don‘t usually pay much attention to the way books are structured but I have to say that the structure of this was absolutely brilliant and gave the story so many layers. I also really liked the #audiobook. Loved it!

I had fun filling in my reading stats for 2021 in my #bujo! I managed to read a little every day which I‘m super proud of! I really need to read more from non-white authors next year, though. Otherwise I‘m pretty happy with what I read this year!📚

And with that, I‘ve managed to finish 30 books this year! My #GoodreadsGoal was to read 25, so this is a big win! I‘ve had a hard time reading books this autumn after I started at my current job, and there were a couple months when I didn‘t finish any books. So seeing that I still got to 30 makes me super happy!📚🎉

I wanted to love this book, I really did, but it just fell a little flat. I enjoyed the story and it was sweet and heartbreaking but I had a hard time following the jumpy timelines at times. I also would‘ve liked a little more emotional depth, to actually feel how the characters felt, but it didn‘t quite hit the mark with that. Liked it though!

I‘m getting ready for #2022 in my #bujo! Even though I haven‘t been reading that much in the past few months I‘ve still managed to read a little every day and I‘m hoping to keep that up next year. I also decided to go with 25 books for the Goodreads challenge, the same as this year. I can‘t believe 2022 is almost here but I can‘t wait to see what new books I‘ll get to!📚

I‘ve been in a serious book reading slump lately (the amount of fanfic I‘ve consumed is unreal, though). But now I managed to finish listening to this #audiobook! I have mixed feelings about this, I liked it but it wasn‘t as good as I‘d hoped. A nice story but nothing too spectacular for me.

This was a fun and short read that I really enjoyed! Especially loved the short part because I‘ve had trouble reading longer books recently. I loved the way the book was written and can‘t wait to read more of this series!

Another great TAZ adaptation! Crystal Kingdom has never been my favourite Balance arc and the comic didn‘t change that but even so I really appreciated the comic. I can‘t wait to get the next one! With this I also finished my Goodreads goal of 25 books for the year!🥳

My reading was all over the place in July but I managed to finish three books! I was aiming for one so three feels pretty damn good. I‘m also only a book away from finishing my Goodreads goal of the year so I‘d say that I‘ve successfully managed to pull myself out of my reading slump😂 #bujo

I finally continued with this one yesterday and today I just could not stop. The story really sucked me in and I had to know how it would all turn out. And I have to say that I loved this, like a lot. So many important topics were discussed in it and I loved how supportive the book felt as a whole. And I really enjoyed the #audiobook too!

My first finished book since April, woohoo! Even if the book was a hot mess😂 I don‘t know, I just didn‘t vibe with this one. There were some very good scenes but the overall plot just didn‘t do it for me. All in all I was disappointed in this. Hopefully the last one will be better! #shadowhunterchronicles

I haven‘t really been reading a lot of books lately, but I decided it was time to change that. Let‘s see how many books that takes though, because I‘m really struggling with it😂 #audiopuzzling

RosaS @BehindthePages Yep! There are some novels that expand on the games such as Underworld about Syndicate and then at least this one comic run, I think there might be other comics as well? I‘ve been really enjoying reading them all! 8mo

This was a bit of a meh read that went over to nope at times. But at least it was fast to read. I really didn‘t appreciate the way the female characters were depicted and I didn‘t care about Harry at all. But the magic system was cool and the plot was just interesting enough for me to keep reading. However I think it‘s safe to say that I won‘t be picking up the rest of the series.

I loved most of the stories in this one but some of them just weren‘t for me. I adore the humans are the weird ones in space trope a whole lot and the short stories in this collection really captured the heart of that so well. I‘m not entirely sure how I feel about this book. I think the ending saved some of it but I just wasn‘t a fan of some of the things that lead there. I just finished this and I‘m actually shaking a little. How is this series so good?? I feel like this was the perfect ending to the series from the plot to the twists to the characters who I‘ve come to love so much it‘s unreal. I already know this series will be one I‘ll reread one day. And don‘t even get me started on the audiobook, Alexander Cendese is now one of my absolute favourite readers. I don‘t really have words right now. I loved the book and I think it‘s a very fitting end to this series. But I‘m so sad that it‘s come to a close. I‘ve travelled with Uncle Rick‘s books for about a decade now (that‘s so wild) and I have to say I‘ve loved every second of it. This book was sadly disappointing. I really wanted to like it because it deals with an important subject but I just didn‘t. I didn‘t really care about the characters and many times I went “are allo people really like that???” which certainly didn‘t help. The ending was also a let down for me but that‘s because of the expectations I had going in to it. #translatedbooks
