In the second half of this book one of Amanda's friends tells the whole school Amanda's secret, that she is transgender. This causes Amanda to get abused by Grants friend on her way home the night of the dance at school, as well as Amanda has to move back to live with her mom. This book is written in first person POV, and the author establishes this by having Amanda be the character we feel when we're reading. I'd recommend this book if you like

Ryan.Norlin romance. that's the last word of that sentence but it was too long to post! 5y

She meets a boy named Grant and she starts to like him a lot, they begin to get close and she‘s worried he is going to find out her big secret.

MissYaremcio Great summary of the book Ryan! I would have loved to see the recommendation and the motif explained but otherwise well done. 4/6 5y
