42/150 At first, I didn't see how the various character vignettes were going to come together as a story, but as things progressed, the pasts of the staff of the Grand Abeona Hotel and their guests began to intertwine and create a rich tapestry. The ending left me wanting more of these characters, so I hope the author plans to write more books in this universe 4 ⭐⭐⭐⭐

As a dark tense psychological thriller this meets all the hype, it definitely had you guessing through the whole book and gives all the feels for all of it‘s craziness, wasn‘t my favorite thriller but it was a fast, entertaining read.

I wasn't sure what to expect but the cover & synopsis drew me in. It was a bit wobbly to start with but it turned out to be a really good thriller. Out of all of the characters , Kayla is the one that the reader spends the most time with & she's easy to like & just wants to do the right thing. It becomes a little fantastical in parts but it has good pace & the storyline kept me glued to the pages to find out what happened. (continued)

OutsmartYourShelf Yes, it's another thriller based on violence towards young women & it's hard hitting, but I didn't find it salacious or exploitative. The jury is out on whether 'Red Rooms' are real or an urban myth, but real or not, this story is worth checking out. I would definitely read more by the author.

TWs: kidnapping, gun violence, gore, death.

My thanks to #NetGalley & publishers, BooksGoSocial, for the opportunity to read an ARC.

Read this in one day. Last book in The Brides of Lancaster County. Rachel is in love with Silas. The only problem is, he's in love with her older sister, Ana and thinks Rachel is a little kid. When Ana leaves the Amish faith, will Silas realize Rachel is grown up? Can he ever trust someone again?

And it‘s a wrap for Nancy Drew Book 6 for #NancyDrewBR In this one, Nancy with Bess & George in tow are trying to help a new friend save her grandmother‘s farm & are caught up in a couple of mysteries that of course tie together at the end. Milder on the danger aspects & some interesting plot points like a “nature cult” & mysterious code. It was a good book for Nancy‘s noggin-no concussions for her or anyone so our⬇️

DebinHawaii …so the "Nancy Noggin Knockout" count or #NNK is just potential concussions in 3 out of 6 books now! ? And is it just me, or does anyone else read the villains‘ lines in their heads like a bad James Cagney impression or old gangster movies?! Just me? Okay… ??‍♀️ 1d

DGRachel @DebinHawaii I get Scooby Doo villain vibes off of all the baddies, but now that you‘ve mentioned James Cagney and old gangster movies, I‘ll never read them quite the same way again. (And now I want to watch White Heat). 1d

Bk2 of April is done! I absolutely loved this. From the author of Rizzoli & Isles series, it‘s the 1st in a new series called The Martini Club. A group of retired CIA agents living in a small seaside town in Maine are dragged back into action after a dead body is left in Maggie Birds driveway. Loved it, it‘s a more serious version of Killers Of A Certain Age or the movie RED. Highly recommended.🔫 #SeriesLove2024 #BookspinBingo #FourFoursIn24👇
