Mehso-so

A relatively inventive (for the time) psychological thriller that is occasionally bogged down by clumsy writing, poorly flushed-out characters, and overly-mundane descriptions. However, the good, for the most part, greatly outweighs the bad, and heavily recovers from some fantastic tension and situations that are almost surrealistic in nature. Overall a decent read.

Pickpick

A subtle and disturbing collection of connected short stories that both horrify and entertain. Although there really isn't a "protagonist" present in the story, every character, even the most deplorable, give insight to their worries and why they do what they do, making them sometimes disturbingly relatable. A physically easy, but emotionally challenging read. Highly recommended!
