Here are some of my favorite books of all time! I can remember distinctly where I was and what the weather was like. The Help was during the hot summer after I graduated high school, Jane Eyre was in a drizzly cold February month as I attended my favorite literature class, The Snow Child was when snowflakes were falling all around, and Emma was during a cleansing springtime rain. All were magical and hit me at the perfect time.
I have been looking for a copy of this book forever! It‘s never in stores and I‘ve had no luck at used bookstores either. Even Amazon‘s price for it was higher than what most mass paperbacks sell for. Tonight I was doing some gift shopping at Barnes and Noble and there it was! Naturally I treated myself to an early Christmas present 😊
I‘ve really been enjoying my Sunday with this delightful distraction! Total escapism. I‘m easily more than halfway done with it already and hoping I can get it done before bed tonight. I hope everyone had a great reading day!

Hi everyone! My name is Lindsey and I‘m brand new to Listy! I heard about this sight through a podcast called Well Read. When I heard it was basically Instagram for books I knew I had to check it out since I only ever use Instagram for book posts. I‘m really looking forward to joining this community because book people are the best people 😄
As a middle school teacher I really appreciate the fact that a great author like Gordon Korman went out of his way to write about a burnt out teacher handling a class of wild and crazy kids. Thank you for the dedication Mr. Korman! #middlegradebooks #readingteacher #teacherlife
My book haul from today! I have to thank the Well Read podcast for the suggestions. The Glass Woman, The Secrets We Kept, and The Library of the Unwritten were all books talked about in one of their latest episodes and I just knew I needed to grab them right away! The book suggestions I‘ve gotten from this podcast have yet to let me down. #bookhaul #bookpodcast
Reading this gem of a book. Love this author! I always learn something new from her. It‘s incredible that she finds different perspectives of history that aren‘t usually talked about or even taught in schools. I feel like a more well rounded person after delving into her stories. She makes you question what you do and do not know
Loved this trilogy! I will say the third one is a bit of a let down after the first two but overall I highly recommend! Especially if you love dark Victorian tales filled with magic like me. You should also listen to the audiobook versions! Unfortunately only one and two exist. They never recorded book three 😞
