Maisie Dobbs is a wonderful character, bright, adventurous, and empathetic. Her latest travels take her Germany on the brink of war where she must save others and herself.

I listened to the audio book. An entertaining story with Josephine Tey as writer/detective.

I enjoyed the characters, pace, and themes of this book. Highly recommend!
