Considering I read this book in less than 48 hours… that‘s enough to say I am obsessed! Absolutely captivated by the sheer intensity between characters and looking forward to reading more. #LitsyLoveReads

KristiAhlers I adore this series and the Crescent City series. I'm currently reading her Assains series. She's an auto buy for me. 3w
corireadslife @KristiAhlers I‘ve read the first two in her Throne of Glass series and found them good but ACOTAR is just amazing! Can‘t wait to keep reading. It‘s good to hear you are enjoying all her books - I will need to add Crescent City to my TBR! 3w
Clwojick The next one is so goooooood! I‘ve only read the first three, but it‘s easily my favourite. 3w

Camp Zero | Michelle Min Sterling
post image
Pickpick

Finished up Camp Zero and can say it was pretty darn good! The author tells the story from three different POVs and ties them together beautifully! My one complaint is that the ending was so abrupt. I didn‘t understand the urgency to end the story and was left feeling like β€œWhat? That‘s it?” But overall, it‘s a good one! #LitsyLoveReads

Signal Fires by Dani Shapiro earned 3 🌟 from me. It was very middle of the road, not bad but not amazing. I can see why some people love it but I found it hard to feel attached to the characters and wasn‘t left with any sort of emotion.

I started The Sign for Home a few months ago and then wrapped it up yesterday. Honestly, I‘m regretting it took me so long. Arlo, a DeafBlind man, decides to take a writing class which leads him to unlock old memories and friendships guiding him to his true love. The character attachment is real as I grew to love Arlo, Cyril, Hanne, and Molly dearly. A solid 4 🌟 read! #LitsyLoveReads

When the internet goes out, you get a lot of reading done πŸ€“

Finished Jade City by Fonda Lee and I loved it! The ending did make me sad and I wished it hadn‘t ended the exact way it did, but I‘m hoping the next two books will redeem that for me. Looking forward to continuing on with this series!

catiewithac Were you hit by those punks who attacked the power stations? Is everything okay now? 3mo
corireadslife @catiewithac besides having to go without internet for a bit, we were fine. Between that and the weather, a lot of surrounding neighborhoods lost power so we were lucky there! Things are now back to normal from what we can tell. 3mo

Well, not my favorite of the Chief Inspector Gamache series but that doesn‘t mean it was bad by any means. Louise Penny has the capability to write of two different stories with rich, historical depth - all happening simultaneously and then woven together at the very end to the point where no detail is forgotten.
