It‘s been a hot minute since I‘ve read a book by Tessa Bailey and I devoured it! A fast, comical, and steamy read that earned 4 π #LitslyLoveReads
Finished up Camp Zero and can say it was pretty darn good! The author tells the story from three different POVs and ties them together beautifully! My one complaint is that the ending was so abrupt. I didn‘t understand the urgency to end the story and was left feeling like βWhat? That‘s it?β But overall, it‘s a good one! #LitsyLoveReads
Lots and lots of #LitsyLove hitting the mailbox today π looking forward to many more letters to come! β€οΈ
An eye-opening, intimate story. Truly heartbreaking but also feeling honored to read Jennette‘s road to healing β€οΈ 4.5 stars rated up! #LitsyLoveReads
Listening along with Reese Witherspoon‘s book club. Not the worst of all reads but at times, I kind of wished I was listening to something else. Didn‘t see the ending which was a redeeming quality for me π #LitsyLoveReads
Wow, what an ending! Can‘t wait to dive into Jade Legacy to see how Fonda Lee wraps up The Green Bone Saga.
Very late in posting this but thank you @catiewithac β€οΈ a sweet sweet surprise! The conversation hearts didn‘t last for the picture π thank you for passing along your extra copy. Just so happens, I need a book to read that is less than 200 pages so looks like I have found my next read! π
Goodness gracious so good. A very intimate read and I feel honored that Michelle Zauner shared her story β€οΈ Highly recommend! #LitsyLoveReads
January 2023 is off to a strong start with some really good reads, Lessons in Chemistry being one of them. An easy 5π for me because it was just so good. I felt connected to Elizabeth, her experiences, and her thoughts. In addition, Mad and Six-Thirty were amazing! β€οΈ

A few days late here but just wanting to send a giant thank you to those who wished me the happiest birthday! β€οΈ thank you to my husband, my family, my coworkers, and the amazing #LitsyLove community for making me feel incredibly special! I appreciate you all β€οΈ
Signal Fires by Dani Shapiro earned 3 π from me. It was very middle of the road, not bad but not amazing. I can see why some people love it but I found it hard to feel attached to the characters and wasn‘t left with any sort of emotion.

Starting 2023 off strong with two amazing reads!
5π This Tender Land
4.5 π Love on the Brain
Seriously soooooo good! Highly recommend both. And on the topic of recommendations, I am obsessed with my Bookworm Life Planner from Peanut Butter Taco π it‘s adding in so much fun to my book tracking for the year!

Being transparent, I ended my work day yesterday in tears. All is well, but abrupt change is hard and my body needed time to process.
To my surprise, I open the front door and see this big box. THANK YOU SO MUCH @catiewithac πβ€οΈ the best surprise! It means so much that you took the time to send this my way. Now I am going to try to be patient until my birth date is a little bit closer before I openπ
CAN‘T WAIT!
I started The Sign for Home a few months ago and then wrapped it up yesterday. Honestly, I‘m regretting it took me so long. Arlo, a DeafBlind man, decides to take a writing class which leads him to unlock old memories and friendships guiding him to his true love. The character attachment is real as I grew to love Arlo, Cyril, Hanne, and Molly dearly. A solid 4 π read! #LitsyLoveReads
When the internet goes out, you get a lot of reading done π€
Finished Jade City by Fonda Lee and I loved it! The ending did make me sad and I wished it hadn‘t ended the exact way it did, but I‘m hoping the next two books will redeem that for me. Looking forward to continuing on with this series!
I almost thought about putting this under my Christmas tree to open later but I then I decided I wanted to enjoy the book love now!! ππβ€οΈ Thank you thank you @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks for the gift!!
For Louise Penny Fans, Three Pines is out on Amazon Prime and it is AHππ»MAZππ»ING! I just finished book #17 last week so it was so fun to see the characters come to life. Highly recommend!

I really enjoyed this one up until the ending and then it fell flat. But up until then, I was hooked and loved getting to see yet another side of some amazing characters that I have come to love over 17 books! Very excited for book 18 to release very soon πβ€οΈ
I am very thankful for #LitsyLove helping me build connections all over the world and surprising me with the most wonderful gifts! π

We have two Free Little Libraries near our new home and I just happened to snatch this one while we were walking the dogs. Excited to see what others I can find & give!
Finally, FINALLY getting back into my #LitsyLove after the move! It had been a while, realized I still had some letters from July π³ but I am slowly working on getting all caught up. Thanks everyone for your patience and so excited to be writing again π

Hey #LitsyLove friends! π
Just a quick update - we bought a house and will be moving next weekend. I won‘t need to put my mail on hold but all my letter writing stuff is in boxes!! Due to this, I‘ll be a little slow over the next few weeks to get mail out β€οΈ Thank you all for your patience and excited to get back into writing more regularly!!
August #BookSpin & #DoubleSpin ππ
Wrapped up One True Loves by TJR yesterday and it was beautiful in a million different ways. Loved every moment! Rating 5π without a doubt in my mind.
Recently finished up a couple #BookSpin books that I have forgotten to post!
Set Boundaries, Find Peace is a definite 5 π read. Loved every moment of it and honestly think every person should read it #DoubleSpin from March
The Fixer Upper by Lauren Forsythe just wasn‘t for me. Had to DNF βΉοΈ #BookSpin from June
I skipped #BookSpin for July but plan to get back into the game for August ππ

Well it‘s been a hot minute since I‘ve posted on Litsy!
I‘m still here ππ»ββοΈ just in the biggest reading slump of my life and really only wanting to watch Netflix. But my book buddy was ready to read A Better Man and goodness, how I‘ve missed Gamache! Already loving how this one is starting π€
#LitsyLove I have been so behind, I‘m very sorry! I was able to get out a few letters last week and hope to get more out soon. π
My June #BookSpin and #DoubleSpin picks!!
I kept the same BookSpin card and I‘m not disappointed with that decision. Very excited to read these two!! π€

My May #BookSpin π§ Fake It Till You Bake It is a true light-hearted romcom that brings together Donovan, an NFL player who is the owner of a Sugar Blitz, and Jada, a reality TV star hiding from the negatives of social media. A fake romance turns into anything but all while navigating family dynamics, crowds of camera waving fans, self-doubt, and learning disability. Loved it!!

Oh my goodness, my heart is bursting! An amazing queer romance, full of so much humor and genuine characters you can‘t help but fall in love with. Also this book does not shy away from mental health diagnoses and the impact it can have on a person‘s life, especially when not understood by those around them. Highly recommend this book!
Audiobooks and puzzling is a great combination but I will say, this has been one of the hardest puzzles yet!!

May #BookSpin and #DoubleSpin π€
Kept things chill this month and needed to pick a NetGalley read and a Hardcover book on my bookshelf so these are the two I picked!! Time to read!!
After another unsuccessful reading month in April, I‘m switching things up for May!!
New #BookSpin and #DoubleSpin board to give me a little more freedom in book choice which I hope will get me in the reading groove again. Fingers crossed π€π»

Well, not my favorite of the Chief Inspector Gamache series but that doesn‘t mean it was bad by any means. Louise Penny has the capability to write of two different stories with rich, historical depth - all happening simultaneously and then woven together at the very end to the point where no detail is forgotten. I love her writing!! This book just didn‘t hit the usual wow factor for me.
Thank you, thank you, thank you @AmyG π₯°β€οΈ Such a sweet surprise and one that really brightened my day. I appreciate you so much!!
I hope all #LitsyLove writers know how much my face lights up with a smile when I get a letter from you. I know I‘ve been slow to respond lately but I‘m still enjoying every moment getting to know everyone through snail mail and share all about our lives and interests. Cheers to many more π

Ugh. I really wanted to love this book. I think the concept and idea is there but the writing is lacking and the characters have no depth. As someone who lives off character growth and development, I could not get hooked. After 26% I found myself wanting to read anything but this book so I decided to bail. Not something I usually do but sometimes you just have to move on π€·π»ββοΈ

Finally. I have FINALLY finished Under the Whispering Door and it was okay. I know - unpopular opinion here.
