The two main characters Eva and Clive, make an adorable couple and you can't help but love them. Actually, all the characters in this book are extremely likeable. so-so3 stars ⭐️ In the beginning, I found it difficult to keep track of the characters going back and forth between Emma (in the past) and Jane (in the present); two girls who lived in the same home a few years apart. However, it got easier and was a neat way to read both perspectives. After their wedding night and finding out my suspicions were correct, I almost stopped reading fearing it would be too gruesome, but I'm glad I continued.
