Amazing secuel of An Ember in the Ashes! Filled with action, misteries and with surprising plot twists. But there is also a lot of violence for my taste, and until the last 100 pages de of the book I was a bit lost with everything that was going on. Still amazing book!

So this book was actually 3 short stories in one book. One chapter is one story, next chapter is another, and so on.
It wasn't very Christmasy, it is set in winter, and in the same place, but they are not related to each other.
Most of the book is told by the author, she summarized many things. I don't know. It's not a type of book I am used to.
Even if I enjoyed the read, I think the cover and blurb are misleading. I like the dialogues.

The book was entertaining, easy to read most of the time but when it comes to the historical part of it it's characters seamed to modern for me. The plot had many clichés too, and I didn't like much the climax. The author tells many things instead of showing them to you. Still a an enjoyable read if you feel like reading something easy. More ficción than reality.

Hi everyone! I am new here! I was kinda tired of Instagram and I looked up other app about books.

I loved all the action, the plot twists, the secrets, and all the supernatural things going on, something I didn't really expected at the beginning of the book.
The characters are awesome, you can see all the work the author put into making the voices of Laia and Elias be different.
