I just, this hit me so hard. I dunno where to go from here, but I believe that understanding is the first step.

Really loving this so far! Glad I choose this as my traveling read.

Four girls, a paper route, and one extraordinary evening in the 80s in a sleepy little town equals some very excellent reading. The girls are all distinctive, playing to types without being limited by them. Some genuinely creepy moments in here as well, giving it the feel of a campfire story.

Hill you've done it again. Really excellent world building, pacing is spot on, and I absolutely loved these characters. Every time I had to put down the book I found myself thinking about it, want to delve in again. And don't think I missed the Dark Tower reference! Well done, I highly recommend.

I absolutely loved this! Witty and engrossing, this book about a 75 year old man going off to fight aliens was surprisingly thoughtful. I have to admit, the parts about marriage and love made me all gooey inside.

It‘s been ages since I‘ve read such a gorgeous and thought-provoking story, and this one seemed to devour me a bit more with each chapter. Excellent for fans of Station Eleven, or anyone looking for something that rings true.

Finally get to start this...so excited!!
