My bookcase is not full of impressive books, it is full of books I love to re-read #chiclit #noshame

Pickpick

Split between the time frames of the 1990‘s and the 1920‘s this book was destined to pique my interest. The book took a little while to get into but then was unputdownable. Having re-read the earlier chapters I only wish there had been more about Arlette in her later years, perhaps dropping some references to the past. Otherwise thoroughly enjoyable.

Love in the Time of Cholera | Gabriel Garcia Marquez
Panpan

If this is supposed to be romantic then I proclaim romance dead. I slogged through this book as I had put it on my bucket list to read it. It wound up being like one of those books you read in school but never see the point in. Didn‘t like any of the characters, couldn‘t see where it was going the whole way through and the answer was, nowhere. Not my cup of tea at all.

Surprise Me | Sophie Kinsella
Mehso-so

I love Sophie Kinsella‘s writing style and Can You Keep A Secret is one of my favourite books to re-read over and over again. However, Sylvie, like Rebecca Bloomwood in the shopaholic series is equally endearing and annoying. If Kinsella‘s characters were a little smarter and didn‘t get themselves in mad situations they would be a winner every time.
