Unpopular opinion time 🙈 I've never felt so unsatisfied by a book before. This was such a huge disappointment and it'll forever make me question the hype and whether I read the same thing that the others read and raved about. I wanted to like this one so bad but I couldn't deal with the lack of a real plot and the cheesiness *sigh*

This book is very strange and very beautiful indeed. The writing was lyrical, captivating and bittersweet. And the characters, I fell in love with them. Walton makes you feel the characters' pain, loss and happiness. She makes you smell the rain, the grass and the fresh bread baking. And she will definitely make your heart ache.Highly recommended
