FWS agent Newcomer is trying to catch the most notorious butterfly smuggler in the world, Yoshi Kojima. This is a true story, but it reads like nonfiction. An intriguing story of a paranoid, eccentric and tbh, sick in the head, man, who lets no one and nothing stop him from trading butterflies legally and illegally. Highly recommended!

The perfect mix of nerve wracking suspense, scientific information and heart! I can‘t recommend this enough if you like true-crime or non-fiction that pulls at your heart strings & give you an appreciation for butterflies! The lengths & money that people continue to spend on illegal trade of endangered species is disgusting. I‘m a zoologist so this really hit some conservation heart strings for me. I won‘t be forgetting it anytime soon!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
