Suffolk Folk Tales
Suffolk Folk Tales | Kirsty Hartsiotis
2 posts | 2 read | 1 to read
These lively and entertaining folk tales from one of Britain's most ancient counties are vividly retold by Kirsty Hartsiotis. Their origins lost in the oral tradition, these stories from Suffolk reflect the wisdom (and eccentricities) of the county and its people. Suffolk has a rich and diverse collection of tales, from stories of the Orford merman and the green children of Woolpit to legends of sunken cities and demonic black dogs. These highly readable tales, richly illustrated with line drawings, bring alive the landscape of the county's rich and fertile plains.

#Day29 #SomethingForSept my current read is actually short stories of the county I live in. I don't normally read short stories as just when I start getting interested they end, but these are short little tales which are quite entertaining
