The ending was a bit of both: surprising and lame. But catching, generally.
I like Jefferson Winter, even if he is a bit of a know-it-all. Looking forward to the next volumes, even though the story is very brutal at times. Even though all that brutality is taking place in one‘s mind. Might be my age, but it was the first time, that telling myself it‘s fiction didn‘t work properly.
P.S.: I'm proud, I started a series at volume 1. 😉
