May Pick is Dead of Winter
It won it's spot by default because most of my reads this month were romance, DNFs or just OK. I did like Dead of Winter. It was a very Agatha Christie style murder mystery in the snow but I was able to guess the killer pretty early in the book so I wish it had more mystery.

4 Stars • I have not found a Freida McFadden book that I didn‘t like. I‘ve already read quite a few but now I am on a “Freida Frenzy“ and am determined to finish the rest of her catalog.
The Locked Door follows Nora Davis, a surgeon hiding her past as the daughter of a serial killer. When her patients are murdered in her father‘s signature style, Nora becomes a suspect. ⬇️
I LOVED this book!! It was so good! There are so many twists and turns that I didn't see coming at all! This book left my jaw on the floor multiple times and right when I thought I knew everything. The rug got pulled, and I actually knew nothing. I also loved the found sisterhood. 5/5
I found 4… maybe 3.5 #WickedWords for March. I found a Summer Breeze but not a Sea Breeze 🌬️ most of them in the tagged book which really enjoyed. The style reminded me a bit of A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket especially as the main character is writing the things he experiences as the book goes on. 👍
I found Scar in Blood Bride which sadly I was more interested in the audio performances than the story itself. 👎

A reread that didn‘t quite work for me this time. I remembered enough to make some important things predictable & other things annoying🙄😬 I will continue with series though.

And with this, the Amos Decker series comes to a close😭 A highly recommended series!
Listening to the tagged and weeding the front yard. I don‘t think I have time to finish today, but I‘m holding off on my month end wrap up just in case.
This book caught my eye at the airport—it had been on my TBR list for a long time. The story is slow-paced but worth it. It‘s a gripping good vs. evil tale where good pays a heavy price. Camila, a wife and mother to a 9-month-old, returns to work after maternity leave, only for her life to spiral. By nightfall, her loving husband Luke is revealed as both a captor—and a killer.
