We‘re now well into Hour 3 of the #ReverseReadathon! How‘s everyone doing? Anyone else had any issues with their reading buddies taking an undue interest in their books? (Don‘t worry; Casey didn‘t damage this poetry collection.)

I‘ve been reading a bit of June Jordan before bed every night. Many of her poems are longer than I usually prefer, but her imagery and rhythm carry me through. It‘s sobering, though, how topical this collection feels when the most recent poems were penned in 1989 and the oldest date from 1958.
