I really liked this short story that approaches the Cthulhu mythos from the perspective of the 'monsters' of Innsmouth. Like The Ballad Of Black Tom, it reframes one of Lovecraft's stories as an indictment of racism instead of a proponent of it. I'll definitely be checking out Winter Tide, the full length novel this one leads into. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A well done short story using the Cthulhu mythology. This makes me want to read more of the Innsmouth Legacy, so I'll be checking out Winter Tide as well as going back to associated Lovecraft stories. #lovecraft #fantasy #cthulhu
