Mehso-so

I liked this. Ginny and Caulder frustrated me at times when they pushed Smitty too hard or just couldn‘t understand why he was having trouble, but – teenagers? And I sometimes wondered what the psychologist was thinking. I did love the interactions between Ginny and her brothers. The last bit of the book picked up a bit with a confrontation, but it wasn‘t quite enough to bring my rating up to 4 stars. 3.5 stars is still good for me, though.

I know there are a TON of books that have dealt with the extraterrestrial, but this is the first title that came up in my TBR for #aliensexist

I'm so happy to know that, after over a decade of loving this book, and more rereads than I can count, it can still hold up as one of my favorite novels of all time. ❤️

One of my all time favorites. I think I've read this a dozen times over the last decade or so and I'm always recommending it to people. What's a book you recommend to everyone?

JaclynW Probably too many to list here! 😉😄 (And it depends on the person too.) A few that I've been recommending a lot this year are: A Man Called Ove, A Handmaids Tale, Born a Crime, Lilac Girls and Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee. 8y
