Kind of a convoluted plot line but an enjoyable read anyway. Bernie Gunther, the Berlin cop, is in Cuba and in France and in Germany. It skips back and forth between WW2 Germany and 1954. There is great suffering as a POW and some spy-craft. I will probably read more! This is just my second.
