My main Tarot deck (after the basic Rider Waite) was Archeon, I'll say, around 2008. This came from a psychic bookstore, with a really awkward story of trouble with a sorceress 😅🙀 someone who randomly accused me of 'dabbling in darkness', which caused some grief and guilt issues. Basically, many of us in a positive group were criticized in the same about reading others for profit. It was newly personal use for me; anyway, an old story. (cont.)

Dan_SpiderCrafts This person did threaten me with 'nightmare attacks', which kiddingly or not, was the end of the bookshop owner's friendship with them. We keep in touch, and don't talk at all about those days. The shop owner is now co-management at Walmart. -- I still use the Archeon cards at times, in open self-reflection, and preferred with the Major cards only, omitting the Minor. (edited) 7y
Dan_SpiderCrafts You can imagine this was upsetting to my parents, as they moved from spiritual interests themselves (Sylvia Browne / Theresa Caputo) to a positive understanding of things. If just for Tarot use as my only interest, I relate the 'psychic attack' to one of my favourite movies, The Skeleton Key, on the power of beliefs. 💀🗝 (edited) 7y
