Mehso-so

As with any collection of various authors, there is stories I liked and stories I did not. This collection was strong unpowered women so very few heterosexual romances happened. There was a lot of heartwarming shorts as well. At first it seems there it is only comic strips, but there is also a few short stories.

Trying to decide if I like this or not. Part graphic novel the other short story. Several artists are included.

Almost done with this book, promise. But this story was so sweet and gave very much a Persephone and Hades vibe but with a happy ending and no vengeful gods.

Animal transformation and demons and witches and a lovely, perfect happy ending in the story: Black Bull. Just consider me all heart eyes after reading it.

One of my fave fairytales, I loved this telling of it. The background of a war like WWI fit so well and made the story even more intriguing.

There's gonna be a few of these because this book was FANTASTIC. By far one of the best collections of retold fairy tales I've ever read. This was the third story: Bride of the Rose Beast was beautifully told and illustrated. #fairytales #f/f

Second story in this book and I'm tearing up. Just a wonderful take on The Little Mermaid.
