While it's been a few decades since I read the first Boxcar Children book, I have vivid memories of reenacting the story many times with friends. This graphic adaptation seems to abbreviate the story to the point it loses the suspense and sense of adventure, though I could be misremembering the original. #mommyreads #graphicnovel #adaptation #ebook
