Evelina always knew magic. Ever since she was a little girl she was able to heal wounds and broken bones without breaking a sweat, a healer, just like her mother. Working in the high school from which she graduated presented her with the perfect opportunity to use her gift to help people. Her peaceful life is interrupted when her former college roommate arrives back in town with a dark shadow in tow. As time passed, Evelina would realize that her magic can be used for more than fixing sprained ankles, and would lead her down a path that would shape the rest of her life.
