Raw. Heartbreaking. Emotional. Frustrating. But above all completely and brutally honest. #pick #sorrowandbliss

Holiday read ☀️ Outrageous, dark and witty. Really loved this and for a serial killer grace is totally relatable! Bit of a frustrating ending but I hope that means there‘ll be another.. #pick #holiday

Vox | Christina Dalcher

At the end of this novel the author writes “I hope this book makes you a little bit angry, I hope it makes you think”.
While Vox doesn‘t come close to Handmaids tale, I found this interesting and well written and yes it certainly did make me angry and it made me think #pick #Vox

It Ends With Us | Colleen Hoover

Is enjoyed the right word? This is a powerful and emotive read. Didn‘t buy into the romance at all, I found Ryle arrogant and manipulative from the beginning but if this book helps just one woman in a similar situation realise she‘s needs help then it‘s done its job. #pick #ItEndsWithUs

Girl A | Abigail Dean

Pickpick

It‘s difficult to describe this book in a few words. Brutal, traumatic, vulnerable, heartbreaking. For such a tough read I found it impossible to put down, its heavy and I had to force myself to take breaks at some points. Definitely not one for the faint hearted but if you can manage it you won‘t be disappointed. #pick

The Miniaturist | Jessie Burton

I was unsure of this book at first. It Seemed to take a little while to get going but once it did I LOVED it! There were so many twists that I did not see coming!! I also liked how historically accurate it was, all the references to medieval Amsterdam are really interesting and I became so invested in the lives of the characters! #pick #theminiaturist

So much love for this! The writing is so elegant and immersive, I could imagine every scene. It was as if I was living the story alongside Kya. Definite pick 💜#WhereTheCrawdadsSing #pick #love
