I loved Juli and the way she‘s thinking. It took me a while to adjust my way of experiencing the world to how she does – but after I managed to do that I was surprised and enthralled by the book. Sadly that feeling fainted during the last 70 pages because the overall message of the story feels too average for me. I wished for something different and therefore it‘s a “So-So” for the story even if Juli herself deserves a “Pick”.

At the moment I love that book for all the stuff belonging to the category “unnecessary knowledge but after all interesting”.

I‘m around page 70, so maybe by now I got used to the writing style. Or my mood has changed … Whatever. 🤷🏽‍♀️ 😃

Nice feeling to _finally_ have a bit of time again to continue this.

Even though I was so excited to read it, I am now kind of struggling with it. I‘m not yet sure why but at this stage I‘d pin it on the writing style. It‘s sober. Factual. Brittle and distant. 🤷🏽‍♀️ I can relate to what Juli says about her anxiety and there are definitely memorable sentences – but reading the book still feels like a task, if you know what I mean. Do you❓

I finally brought myself to download this. I had a faint idea that I would need a cable once more. And yes, I was correct. My ebook reader wouldn‘t accept it via wifi. So I heavily-hearted left the cosy spot on my balcony. I was lucky neither my laptop nor my internet nor my ebook-reader whinged so I was outside again in no time. 😃

Looking forward to this. I wanted to read it for so long.
