Dinner in an Instant: 75 Modern Recipes for Your Pressure Cooker, Slow Cooker, and Instant Pot(r)
Dinner in an Instant: 75 Modern Recipes for Your Pressure Cooker, Slow Cooker, and Instant Pot(r) | Melissa Clark
4 posts | 4 read | 2 to read
With 75 all-new recipes, Melissa Clark, New York Times food columnist, web star, and our generation's authority on upping your cooking game without fuss, brings her signature flavor-forward dishes and dinner brand to everyone's favorite countertop appliance, the Instant Pot(R). With 75 recipes for slow cooker, pressure cooker, and other Instant Pot(R) settings, Dinner in an Instant proves that home cooks do not have to sacrifice flavor and quality for the convenience of countertop appliance cooking. With Melissa's signature arsenal of flavors (garlic, ginger, preserved lemons, gochujang, harissa, and more!) and chock-full of tips--each of the recipes will be annotated with dietary information and notes on which setting is best for each dish. Recipes will also include instructions for cooking on multiple settings--busy home cooks can decide whether they want to have their dinner cook throughout the day while they tend to other tasks, or in a quick twenty minutes before the family sits down to eat. As in her previous book, Dinner, all of Melissa's recipes are never before published, fresh, approachable, and practical for weeknight cooking, without ever sacrificing quality and taste.

I am glad I borrowed this from the library instead of purchasing it sight unseen. I wish there were more recipes that were quick & tasty for weeknights. Some seem more suited to longer weekend meals. Beautiful small book though. I don‘t think I‘ll purchase it.

My family members do not shop from my TBR (nor do they know what a TBR is...😛), but they are quite good at shopping from my wish list of books-for-doing-things (cooking, coloring, etc.) - very excited about my Christmas gifts! 😊🎄📚

Julsmarshall I received the Smitten Kitchen cookbook too and I‘m so excited! 6y
Christine @Julsmarshall Yay!! Deb can do no wrong. :) 6y

Mitch Yeah - love discovering a new cook book. Have you tried the Anna Jones books - they‘re amazing ( especially the pages where you create a dish from a chart - 1 thing from column A , one from column B etc, great way to use up leftovers!) 6y
Christine @Mitch - Ooh, I have heard her books are good but have never picked one up - thanks for the suggestion, I will definitely check them out! 6y
