An interesting history of the founding of the US Navy and the first Six Frigates of the US Navy; the Constitution, President, United States, Congress, Constellation, and Chesapeake. Initially constructed to counter a threat from France. And used in the Barbary Wars and the War of 1812. This chronicles the debate to construct the ships through the conclusion of the War of 1812.

Tonight we had a going away party for my baby girl who leaves for navy boot camp in just 10 days! 😯😢😩 I'm so proud of her, and excited for the adventures in her future, and yet I hate this! 😭 #militarymom
