This Love | 
pickThis was the last book I read in 2017.
I must ask a question. Is the term “chick lit” offensive? If so, I‘d be glad to try to think of another to describe it.
This is not my usual genre, but I did enjoy this book. It has an engaging plot and a lot of emotion.
I still don‘t think this genre is for me, but I had fun reading this.
Fernoppy Chick lit shouldn't be offensive - there is some brilliant writers working that genre, telling wonderful stories. It's only used as a pejorative because of the way our society devalues women's stories - our emotions and relationships and the minutiae of our daily lives. So use chick lit with pride, I say! 😊 6y
